
Enav Foundation's Spicca il Volo award for 5 Sapienza researchers
On Friday, March 14, 2025, the first edition of the Enav Foundation's "Spicca il Volo!" Award was held at Sapienza's Aula Organi collegiali. The annual award celebrates women and men, research groups and innovative start-ups that have distinguished themselves in the STEM field and in research projects of high social relevance.
The ceremony was attended by Rector Antonella Polimeni, who hosted the event, Enav and Enav E.T.S. Foundation's President Alessandra Bruni, promoter of the award, and Elisa Zambito Marsala, head of Education ecosystem and global value programmes of Intesa Sanpaolo, strategic partner of the initiative.
During the ceremony, five young researchers, all women, selected for their innovative projects carried out at Sapienza were presented with an award plaque. They are: Federica Angeletti (Aerospace Engineering), Manuela Petti (Computer, Control and Management Engineering), Elena Ambrosetti (Physics), Claudia Fasolato (Physics) and Vittoria Silvestri (Mathematics). The top three also benefited from scholarships offered by Intesa Sanpaolo, aimed at further supporting their research path.
