Five Female Scientists from Sapienza in the Una vita da scienziate catalogue. The Faces of the Project #100 experts: Barbara Caputo and Tiziana Catarci from the department of computer, automatic and management engineering, Simonetta Gentile from the Department of Physics, Elena Pacella from the Department of Sense Organs and Paola Velardi from the Department of Computer Science.
A life as a scientist. The faces of the # 100 expert project is a photographic exhibition created by the Bracco Foundation with the shots of the famous photographer Gerald Bruneau who wants to bring the general public closer to the female face of research and at the same time represent science as beauty and accessibility. A journey inspired by the database project against stereotypes, conceived by the Pavia Observatory and by the Association of journalists Gi.U.Li.A.e with the support of the European Commission Representation in Italy. Biologists, chemists, pharmacologists, engineers, astrophysicists, mathematicians, surgeons, palaeontologists and informatics are just some of the professions, conducted at the highest levels, of the scientists portrayed by Bruneau.
The exhibition will be held from January 15th to June 30th at the Cdi - Italian Diagnostic Center in Via Saint Bon 20, Milan.
