At such a delicate moment for our country, Sapienza University of Rome, together with Fondazione Roma Sapienza, is launching a fundraising campaign to help deal with the current emergency.

We exhort the whole academic community to support the growing needs of our hospitals that these days have been working under increasing pressure. Fondazione will then allocate the proceeds to the Aziende Ospedaliero-universitarie (university hospitals) connected with Sapienza University of Rome: Policinico Umberto I and Ospedale Sant'Andrea.

Thanks to the university community and several private companies' donations (such as Kering SpA and Ermenegildo Scarapicchia), to date, the total amount that has been reached is 581.430,97 euros. Through the fundraising's proceeds, we could sign a contract for 8 ventilators, 8 monitors, 8 ICU beds, 1 storz cmac x cmos system video endoscope and 2 echo cardio. [20.03.2020 update]
