More grants and support for students from 2021-22
On July 22, 2021, Sapienza's Board of Governors decided to use the new Mur's funds (Italian Ministry of University and Research) to further increase the number of grants, opportunities and tools to promote inclusion and protect the right to education starting from 2021-22.
New measures include more grants for students with a Bachelor's degree acquired abroad or at another Italian university, new types of three-year grants for freshers with specific characteristics (students living outside the region, enrolled in Stem - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics courses - etc.), more available places in the Honours programmes, more part-time student collaboration grants, new forms of support for services such as urban transport and accommodation etc.
Benefits and bonuses already granted in previous years, such as the family bonus, exemptions for those who obtain top marks in their high school diploma and exemptions for those enrolling at the School for Advanced Studies (Ssas) are renewed for 2021-22.
