MuSa auditions: join Sapienza's music ensembles
Musica Sapienza (MuSa) offers the opportunity for Sapienza self-taught or professional musicians to join orchestral or choral ensembles and thus combine study and work commitments with their passion for music. Musica Sapienza's most representative events, including "I giovedì della MuSa", are staged in the Aula magna, the Teatro Ateneo and other equally important venues such as the Odeion Hall and the University Chapel.
This year's auditions will take place from October 16 to 20. To participate, please send the application form by October 10.
There are various positions open: instrumentalists, singers, and dancers in the pop, rock, black, funky and afrosound genres for the MuSa classical, MuSa blues, MuSa jazz and EtnoMusa ensembles.
To audition for MuSa Jazz and MuSa Blues it is preferable to submit a video or attend the auditions in person.
For MuSa Classica and EtnoMuSa, auditions are only held in person and sending a video is optional. Erasmus students who would like to share traditional music from their home country are also welcome to join EtnoMuSa.
Participation in the project entitles students to CFUs (credits) and certificates of attendance.
