Dock Startup Lab - new edition

The programme that turns ideas into start-ups is ready to welcome new talent

The new edition of the Dock Startup Lab programme has started, allowing young talents to form a team to build an entrepreneurial project, validate the idea on the market and present it to an audience of investors and companies at the final Demo Day.

Sapienza and Roma Tre are among the academic partners of the programme, organised by Unfold Tomorrow in collaboration with Eni (through Joule, its business school), Teleperformance and under the patronage of the Assessorato alle attività produttive e pari opportunità of Roma Capitale.

The programme has been identified by the Financial Times and Statista as a leading start-up hub in Europe.

Applications are open until March 14, 2025 and are open to students, researchers, graduates and professionals from all sectors. It is not necessary to already have an entrepreneurial idea: Dock Startup Lab encourages the matching of complementary talents from the early stages.

The programme is spread over four months, from March to July 2025, with activities such as:

  • Team Building and Networking: two days, led by international mentors, to create complementary and cohesive teams.
  • Training Workshops: online and in-person sessions on ideation, customer discovery, product development, business models and legal aspects.
  • Targeted mentorship: continuous coaching with founders and experienced industry professionals.
  • Pitch Training: intensive preparation for Demo Day with coach support.
  • Demo Day: final presentation in front of a panel of qualified investors and an audience of over 300 people.
