Sapienza among the best universities for training leading figures at European level
According to a study conducted by the Politico editorial group, Sapienza ranks among the top four universities in training leading figures in the European Union.
The study, entitled 'How to join the EU bubble', analyses the educational profile of European leaders. The research collected more than 450 CVs of senior EU officials and more than 170 MEPs and political leaders. In particular, the universities attended, the degree courses chosen, and the time elapsed between the end of the university course and the move to management roles in the career within the European institutions were taken into account. Thus, it turns out that the schools that trained the key figures in the European Union are three academic institutions based in Belgium - College of Europe, ULB Université Libre de Bruxelles and KLU Catholic Leuven University - followed immediately by Sapienza in fourth place.
As far as educational pathways are concerned, most European leaders have two degrees, one of which is in a legal subject.
