Sapienza Creates Cyber Security Competence Centre

On Wednesday, April 10, Sapienza University signed the public act for the constitution of the Cyber 4.0 Association

On Wednesday, April 10, the Sapienza Rector and representatives from over 40 public and private partners of the Competence Centre dedicated to cybersecurity signed the public act for the constitution of the Cyber 4.0 Association. The association is funded by the Italian Ministry for Economic Development.

Sapienza is the lead partner of the project that aims to provide services and competences related to cybersecurity and its applications for e-health and the automotive and space industries. The expertise of the universities and other partners fully provide all the necessary skills for the project developed in collaboration with the Regione Lazio and Regione Abruzzo.

The Competence Centre will act as a reference, education and support hub for the development of innovative projects, industrial research and the experimental development of cybersecurity applications, as per the National Enterprise Plan 4.0 promoted by the Ministry for Economic Development.
