Sapienza's innovative start-up IntelligEarth Srl was the most viewed in February on the Knowledge Share platform: interview with Antonio Cosentino and Claudia Masciulli

IntelligEarth Srl is an innovative start-up of Sapienza University, founded in 2023, in the context of research and technology transfer of the Department of Earth Sciences and CERI (Centro di ricerca per previsione, prevenzione e controllo dei rischi geologici). Its ambitious goal is to revolutionise the way in which the cultural and environmental heritage is monitored and consequently managed and protected against geological-environmental risk factors, by merging innovative technologies based on crowdsourcing systems and citizen science logics.

The founding partners of the start-up are professors Paolo Mazzanti and Carlo Esposito from the Department of Earth Sciences and PhD students from the same department Antonio Cosentino and Claudia Masciulli, as well as Nhazca Srl, also a start-up from Sapienza and other external professionals.

In February, the start-up IntelligEarth Srl was the most viewed on the Knowledge Share platform.

The interview with Antonio Cosentino and Claudia Masciulli offers a glimpse into the work of the start-up and the prospects opened up in the field of cultural and environmental heritage protection through technological innovation.
