On the evening of Wednesday, October 1, the state flight carrying a group of 18 Palestinian students and their families to Italy, accompanied by Minister Bernini, landed. Accompanying them are the first two Palestinian lecturers who will work as visiting professors at Sapienza University, as part of Sapienza's Solidarity Call for Research and Teaching approved last May by Sapienza's governing bodies. Accompanying them on their journey from Amman was Rector Antonella Polimeni. 
The two scholars will be hosted at Sapienza University's  residences of and will carry out their activities at the Department of Public Health and Infectious Diseases and the Department of Psycology of Developmental and Socialisation processes, respectively. A transdisciplinary research group comprising scholars from other departments will support the project.
