
Transnational education and international cooperation with Africa
On Thursday, July 1, at 5 pm, a seminar organised by the IHEA Foundation - Italian Higher Education with Africa will be held to discuss possible higher education initiatives on the African continent that could be developed over the next five years in line with the development priorities of the national economic system.
After greetings from Crui President Ferruccio Resta and Rectress Antonella Polimeni, the meeting will be opened by IHEA Foundation President Eugenio Gaudio and will include speeches from University and Research Minister Maria Cristina Messa, President of the Fondazione per la collaborazione tra i popoli Romano Prodi and the Lead Co-Chair of the T20 2030 Agenda TF Stefano Manservisi.
The IHEA Foundation - Italian Higher Education with Africa brings together six prestigious Italian universities; in addition to Sapienza, it includes the University of Bologna, the University of Florence, the Polytechnic of Milan, the University of Naples Federico II and the University of Padua. These initiatives aim to promote the internationalisation of universities in Africa, contributing to local development with a view to cooperation.
