#uncaffècon : The Lazio Technological District for Cultural Heritage Centre of Excellence doesn't stop
From Thursday, April 9, on the DTC Youtube channel, Instagram page and website, the delegates of the 8 founding partners of the Centre of Excellence, are launching the #uncaffècon (#acoffeewith) project. The initiative will offer several video clips on particular aspects of technology applied to culture and on the future challenges that our country is inevitably going to face when the time to promote and protect our cultural heritage and our businesses will come.
The DTC Lazio Excellence Centre does not stop even during this difficult medical emergency. Over 700 researchers and experts, who are part of the Centre, are remotely training and carrying on with their studies on technology applied to cultural heritage. The DTC Lazio, supported by the Lazio Region, MIUR and MIBACT (Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities) is the place where research, technology and culture meet and new technologies, promotion, protection and enhancement of the cultural, historic and artistic heritage of the Lazio Region go hand in hand.
Among DTC goals:
- connecting and supporting the expertise, research activities, education and technology of the funding partners network (five state universities and three major research organisations).
- creating and supporting initiatives aimed at preparing and specialising students and professionals in the field, through training and advanced training courses.
- raising the bar for a better development of the regional technologies applied to cultural heritage and contributing to the creation of a competitive Lazio centre of excellence at European and international level.
- helping set up a network of the technical-scientific, entrepreneurial and institutional resources by enhancing the investment effectiveness in the field.
