
World Health Summit 2020
Sapienza University participated in the World Health Summit 2020, the annual appointment of the M8 Alliance foundation, which took place in Berlin and remotely from October 25 to 27. International experts from the academic and political world attended the summit. Luciano Saso, Deputy Rector for European University Networks, coordinated the round table discussion about the health of migrants and refugees during the COVID-19 emergency.

The M8 Alliance of Academic Health Centers, Universities and National Academies is the academic foundation of the World Health Summit. It is a growing network and currently has 30 members in 20 countries, including the InterAcademy Partnership, which represents the national academies of medicine and science in 130 countries. Two of its main interests are the health of migrants and health in connection with natural disasters.
