Your future, your choice. A European Union campaign for conscious consumption

The European Union launched a campaign aimed in particular at young people to mark World Consumer Rights Day on March 15

Sapienza shares the Your future, your choice campaign, launched on the occasion of World Consumer Rights Day on March 15 to raise awareness of consumer rights and needs.

The campaign covers four themes: environmental sustainability, financial literacy, internet security and data protection.

One notable aspect is the reduction in pollution observed during lockdown periods, which has prompted consumers to consider maintaining and improving the positive impacts on long-term sustainability in a post-pandemic world. Each theme, delivered as a video, comes from the ideas submitted by a wide range of consumers and youth organisations through a European competition held in 2020.
