Academic Calendar
The academic calendar, which is annually approved by the Academic Senate, specifies the suspension of teaching activities for the Christmas and Easter periods and the Carnival Week. On the latter point, Faculties may decide otherwise in the exercise of their teaching autonomy.
Holiday breaks 2024-2025
For the academic year 2024-2025, the following interruptions of teaching activities are planned:
- Christmas from Monday, December 23, 2024, to Saturday, January 4, 2025;
- Easter from Thursday, April 17, 2025, to Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
Carnival Week is not considered an academic holiday unless otherwise communicated by individual Faculties.
During holiday breaks, additional exam dates may be scheduled, in which all students may participate.
The calendar was approved by the University Didactic Committee on Monday, September 16, 2024.
Administration office closure dates
During 2024, Sapienza Central Administration offices (Students Affairs Offices, Public relations and information office, CIAO, HELLO, etc.) will be closed on the following days, in addition to official national holidays:
- Friday, April 26, 2024;
- from Monday, August 12, to Saturday, August 17, 2024;
- Tuesday, December 24, 2024;
- Friday, December 27, 2024;
- from Thursday, January 2, to Saturday, January 4, 2025.
