Academic Calendar
The calendar, which is approved by the Academic Senate, includes all holiday breaks, including Christmas, Easter and Carnival Week.
Faculties are autonomous and free to modify this calendar.
Holiday breaks 2021-22
Holiday breaks for the academic year 2021-2022. No educational activities (lectures, exams etc.) will be scheduled.
- Christmas from Thursday, December 23, 2021, to Wednesday, January 5, 2022;
- Easter from Thursday, April 14, 2022, to Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
Carnival week is not considered an academic holiday unless otherwise communicated by individual Faculties.
During holiday breaks, additional exam dates may be scheduled.
The calendar was approved by the Didactic Committee on September 7, 2021, and by the Academic Senate on September 14, 2021.
Administration office closure dates
During 2021, Sapienza Central Administration offices (Students Affairs Offices, Public relations and information office, CIAO, HELLO etc.) will be closed on the following days in addition to official national holidays:
- Monday June 28, 2021
- from August 11 to 18, 2021;
- December 24 and 31, 2021 and Friday, January 7, 2022.
