Academic Programmes and Education Welfare Area

The Academic Programmes and Education Welfare manages activities related to:

  • Organisation, activation and deactivation of 1stand 2ndCycle Degree Programmes, as well as PhD programmes, Advanced Professional Courses, Professional Courses and Specialisation Schools, including the academic systems via the databanks and procedures defined by MIUR, CUN and ANVUR;
  • Organisation and management of degree programmes held in collaboration with other universities and/or public/private agencies;
  • Coordination and administrative support for university orientation (both incoming and ongoing students);
  • Organisation of orientation activities and events for high school students and participation in orientation activities held in schools and elsewhere;
  • Management of activities required for the development of school-work programmes;
  • Organisation of orientation activities for all students, including international students, and monitoring of visiting international students (incoming);
  • Information concerning all Sapienza services for students with disabilities, including support for office procedures and applications;
  • Publishing calls for admission procedures both for limited access degree programmes and admission exams;
  • Management of scholarship payments for non-medical specialisation schools and theses abroad;
  • Publishing calls and managing scholarships for studies abroad (perfezionamento) and incentives to programme attendance;
  • Management and payment of student work scholarships (CIAO, HELLO, SORT, etc.);
  • Organisation and management of ISEE checks, drafting contracts for specialisation of medical school students, including those with public and private external agencies, and national, regional and FSE projects;
  • Management of post-graduate diplomas, state exams and specialisation schools;
  • Drafting of agreements with enterprises and agencies for curricular and extra-curricular traineeships;
  • Publishing and managing calls for paid curricular traineeships funded by MIUR;
  • Pre-selection of trainees for calls published by public agencies;
  • Drafting of agreements with public and private agencies for placement-related activities;
  • Implementation of strategies to promote access to the working world for Sapienza graduates through support activities and networks with enterprises, associations, agencies, graduates and the university with particular attention to the management of activities related to the Jobsoul Platform;
  • Management of agreements activated on the Jobsoul Platform;
  • Individual support activities (CV drafting, presentation letters, preparation for interviews) and apprenticeships;
  • Managing relations with alumni and especially the graduate databank, also for MIUR-related employment surveys.
