Email - Google apps

Sapienza students enrolled in degree programmes (Bachelor's and Master's, PhDs, Specialisation schools) have a free platform for managing their emails and share their work (surname.studentIDnumber@studenti.uniroma1.it).

Regulations, terms and conditions must be read and accepted to access the services.

Access to institutional email and other Google Apps

What is the institutional email for?

For communications about exams (booking receipts, marks, etc.), important information (e.g. suspension of activities in the event of bad weather), news and updates on events, seminars, concerts etc.
To communicate with your Student Affairs Office, general offices, Ciao, etc., you must use only the institutional mail address containing your Student ID number. If you are not yet a Sapienza student and do not have our institutional email address, please use your personal email.
You will need to periodically check your Sapienza mailbox to avoid missing important communications (e.g. deadlines for tuition fees);
To do that, please download messages from the uniroma1 mailbox to your personal mailbox.

What you get with your e-mailbox

With your mailbox, you will get a set of useful apps to create and share documents, presentations, spreadsheets, groups, calendars, websites, audio and video calls, and many other services.
The system is provided by Google, thanks to an agreement with Sapienza.
As indicated in our Student Regulations, Sapienza favours the institutional email address to communicate with students.
