The Postgraduate Training Office has organised, starting on 7th April, a series of webinars on topics of interest to those enrolled in Sapienza PhD programmes.
The webinars will be held online via the Zoom platform and will focus on access to funding for carrying out research activities in Italy and abroad, the annual reporting of activities carried out, the passage to the following year, and the survey of opinions.

Presentation day - Soft skills training for doctoral students
Sapienza is organising a transversal training programme on soft skills, aimed at enhancing the training pathway of doctoral students, increasingly aimed at a labour market not only in the academic sphere.
On Friday 4 November at 11.00 a.m., the presentation event of the initiative will be held in the Aula Magna, which will take place over 6 weeks starting at 2.30 p.m. on the same day.

Presentation Day - Training on Soft Skills for Ph.D. Students
Sapienza organizes a cross-disciplinary training program on soft skills aimed at enhancing the educational path of Ph.D. students, and increasingly geared towards a job market that extends beyond the academic world.
On Friday, November 5, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, the initiative will be presented in an online event. The program will run over six weeks, starting at 2:30 PM of the same day.

Presentation of the Sapienza Call for 320 new Ph.D. scholarships on green and innovation themes
On Monday, October 11, 2021 (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM), in the Aula Magna of the Main Campus, Sapienza presented the call for applications published on October 11, 2021, for 320 new PhD scholarships (292 focused on green topics and 28 on innovation topics). The funding will be partially covered by resources provided by Ministerial Decree 1061 and partially by Sapienza’s budget.

Regional Call 37° Cycle – Networking Day Sapienza and Businesses
Regione Lazio organizes, next Wednesday, July 7 at 4PM, the “Networking Day” between Business World and Sapienza Research World dedicated to the “Intervention for the Enhancement of Research and Innovation in Lazio – Incentives for Innovation for Businesses and Public Administration Ph.D. Programs” – Year 2021

Cross-Disciplinary Training for Sapienza Ph.D. Students – September 21/24 2020
From September 21st to 24th, 2020, Sapienza organized an online training program on soft skills for Ph.D. students, aimed at the development of greater autonomy and awareness of career-support tools, in line with the European Commission's recommendations, and, particularly the European Charter for Researchers.
Below are the five modules on the aforementioned themes, each adressed to specific categories of Ph.D. students:
- European Project Management (Collaborative Projects) in Research & Innovation Programs. Funding Scouting using Research Professional
Addressed to Ph.D. students in their 2nd and 3rd year, regardless of scientific disciplines.

Opportunities and Funds for Ph.D. Students – Online Workshop of May 22, 2020
The online workshop “Opportunities and Funds for Ph.D. Students” was held on May 22, 2020, from 9:30AM to 11:30AM, to promote opportunities, funds and services made available by the Institution. The following opportunities, in particular, were illustratred:
