Admission procedures are now open for restricted-access Bachelor's Degree Programmes for the: 

  • Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering (ICI)
  • Faculty of Information Engineering, Computer Science and Statistics (I3S)

You can access these courses by taking TOLC-I or ENGLISH TOLC - I or TOLC-CASA. Click on Cisia website for procedures. Testing calendars will be published as soon as possible.

The call for applications provides for three selections. Any positions not filled in the first and second selection will be made available in the third selection, for which the rankings list will be scrolled.

Please note the following change to Annex 4 - Exemption from the admission procedure for students who want to change their degree programme or transfer with sufficient CFUs for admission to years after the first for Computer and system engineering degree programme:

Students must have acquired at least 24 CFUs in their home degree programme, valid for admission to years following the first in the following groups of scientific disciplinary sectors (SSDs), considering the maximum values given:

- MAT/03, MAT/05, MAT/06, MAT/09 (maximum 24 CFUs)

- FIS/01 (maximum 12 CFUs) 

- ING-INF/05 

- INF/01

How to register for selections

To take part in the selection, you need to pay the 10 euro fee using the following procedure:

  • if you are not registered, please register (note: if at the time of registration you have not yet obtained your high school diploma, you must tick the "Waiting for High School Diploma" box)
  • log in (SPID or CIE - Electronic ID card for Italian students; PSW and StudentIDnumber for international students);
  • Go to Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes
  • Go to Admission to Programmes
  • select Preferences management
  • select test code "14616" and click on Continue;
  • choose the degree programme for which you intend to apply, indicating your preference; before generating the payment slip, under penalty of exclusion from the selection, you have to indicate the mandatory preference of the degree programme for which you intend to apply within the time windows for enrolment in the selections indicated in the call
  • go to Continue
  • Go to Insert/modify
  • go to Admission to Programmes
  • Enter code 14616
  • go to Continue and then to Next
  • click on PagoPA
  • pay the 10 euros within the indicated deadline. Read  the instructions

Please Note:

  • for each selection, you can choose only one degree programme; otherwise, you will be excluded from that selection for all the degree programmes in the call;
  • you can enrol in the selection before or after taking the TOLC-I or ENGLISH TOLC - I or TOLC-CASA.

Please note: you have to take the TOLC-I or ENGLISH TOLC - I or TOLC-CASA.

  • necessarily within the registration deadlines for the selections;
  • On the 10-euro payment slip, you do not have to write the chosen course code but the generic code 14616, associated with the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering. To check your preference, log in to Infostud and go to Manage preferences;
  • to enrol in a new selection, you must pay a new 10-euro payment slip using the above procedure;
  • the email address you type in on Infostud at the time of registration will be used for any communication during the procedure, so please check that the address is correct and active.

Deadlines

  • for the first selection: 10 February to 11 April 2023
  • for the second selection: 4 May to 28 July 2023
  • for the third selection: 2 August to 11 September 2023

Isee calculation

The Isee can be calculated at the Caf (tax assistance centre) or on the Inps website and is essential for determining the amount of your tuition fee.

Deadlines

The Isee calculation must be carried out at least 30 days before the pre-registration deadline (see next point).

The value to be requested is Isee 2022 for the right to university education.

Procedure

Once the Isee has been calculated, you have to upload it to Infostud in the following way:

  • log in (SPID or CIE - Electronic ID card for Italian students; PSW and StudentIDnumber for international students)
  • Go to Profile
  • Go to Isee
  • Go to Acquire Isee

The Isee can also be acquired on Infostud during the pre-registration phase.

Pre-enrolment - procedure for those who have successfully passed the first selection 

If you have passed the first selection, you will have to pay a maximum amount of 200 euros (depending on your Isee income), which will be deducted from the first instalment.

Deadlines

  • for students who passed the first selection: from 18 April to 4 May 2023

Procedure

  • log in SPID or CIE - Electronic ID card for Italian students; PSW and StudentIDnumber for international students)
  • go to Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes;
  • go to "Special procedures" and click on "Pre-enrolment Tolc-I";
  • Enter your data;
  • Click on "Enrolment". If your Isee is lower than the expected threshold, payment is not requested and you will be automatically included among the pre-enrolled students;
  • if your Isee is higher than the threshold, click on "Print", the payment slip will be created and you can proceed with payment;
  • Please note that until April 30, you can pay both by PagoPA and cash at Unicredit; from May 1 only by PagoPa. Please click on https://redazione.uniroma1.it/en/pagina/payment for more details and procedure.
  • Once the payment has been made, it is unnecessary to go to the Student Affairs Office or hand in the receipt.

Enrolment

Once the first instalment of the tuition fees has been paid, the student is officially enrolled.

Please Note: if you ticked the “Diplomando” option during registration, you will have to enter the missing data following this procedure before printing the payment slip:

  • log in (SPID or CIE - Electronic ID card for Italian students; PSW and StudentIDnumber for international students)
  • Go to Profile
  • Go to High school diploma
  • go to Update
  • Enter the missing data
  • Click on Send

Deadlines

  • for students who passed first and second selection: 4 September to 7 September 2023
  • for for students who passed the third selection: 14 September to 19 September 2023
  • for first runners up: 22 September to 27 September 2023
  • for second runners up: 2 October to 5 October 2023

Procedure

  • log in  (SPID or CIE - Electronic ID card for Italian students; PSW and StudentIDnumber for international students)
  • Go to Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes
  • Go to "Year one"
  • Enter the data
  • Go to "Generate payment slips".
  • The system will show two slips, one with the first instalment only, the other with all three instalments: you can choose which one you would like to pay;
  • Payment has to be made at a Unicredit bank (over the counter or online) by the date indicated on the slip
  • read the payment methods
  • The payment will be shown on Infostud after 24-48 hours.
  • Once the fees have been paid, it is unnecessary to go to the Student Affairs Office and hand over the receipt or other documents (diploma, photo, etc.).
  • When the payment is on Infostud, students have to activate their institutional email address. Read the instructions

Call 14824 - Applied Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (ACSAI)

Admission procedures for the 2023-24 Bachelor's degree programme in Applied Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (class L-31) of the Faculty of Information Engineering, Computer Science, and Statistics are now open.

In addition to a high-school (secondary school) diploma, you also need:

  1. The TOLC-I or TOLC-CASA, English TOLC-I OR TOLC-S online test took in 2021, 2022 or  to be taken in 2023, delivered online and managed by the Consorzio Interuniversitario Sistemi Integrati per l'Accesso (CISIA) or
  2. the SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) General Test, administered by the College Board (https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/), which can be taken at any SAT Centre in the world.

The call provides for three selections. All procedures are on the Call 

ACSAI - How to register for selections - code 14824

To take part in the selection, you need to pay a 10-euro fee using the following procedure:

  • if you are not registered, please register (Italian citizen will be needing their Spid or Cie credentials. International students can log in with their Infostud ID and PSW. PLEASE NOTE: if at the time of registration you have not yet obtained your high school diploma, you must tick the "Waiting for High School Diploma/Diplomando" box)
  • access the system with your student ID number and password
  • Click on “Bachelors and Masters degree programmes” -> Admission to programmes
  • Type in test code "14824"
  • click on PagoPA
  • pay the 10-euro fee within the deadline indicated on the slip. Read the instructions

Please Note:

  • you can enrol in the selection before or after taking the TOLC-I, TOLC-CASA English TOLC-I, TOLC-S o SAT test ; you have to take the TOLC-I, TOLC-CASA English TOLC-I, TOLC-S o SAT test necessarily within the registration deadlines for the selections;
  • to enrol in a new selection, you must pay a new 10-euro payment slip using the above procedure;

  • Click on "Enrolment". If your Isee is lower than the expected threshold, payment is not requested and you will be automatically included among the pre-enrolled students;
  • if your Isee is higher than the threshold, click on "Print", the payment slip will be created and you can proceed with payment via PagoPA (https://redazione.uniroma1.it/en/pagina/payment for more details and procedure)
  • Once the payment has been made, you do not need to go to the Student Affairs Office or hand in the receipt.

ACSAI - Enrolment

Once the first instalment of the tuition fees has been paid, the student is officially enrolled.
