Sapienza Open Badges

Sapienza has embraced the Open Recognition initiative to recognise, valorise and promote the transversal skills acquired by students and graduates, safely and flexibly, through the Open Badge technology of the Bestr platform powered by Cineca.
The Career Service
  • takes care of the Open Badges’ online conception, drafting and uploading;
  • identifies the recipients in collaboration with all Sapienza structures and transmits them to Cineca;
  • manages reports and requests for information;
  • supports all Sapienza structures that wish to activate specific badges for their specific activities.

Internship and employment observatory

Survey for interns
The Career Service carries out surveys to find out what students and graduates think about their internship experience, with particular attention to the difficulties encountered, the skills developed, and their satisfaction with the services provided by Sapienza.
The results are then used to improve our services and the quality of internships offered.

Opinions of institutions and companies
A survey was also created for companies and institutions to evaluate the intern's overall preparation, skills and organisational behaviour within the company context.
Companies are also invited to indicate their willingness to accept future trainees from the same degree programme.

Employability data surveys
Sapienza has joined the AlmaLaurea Consortium, which investigates graduates' profile and employment status, providing valuable reports for the verification and planning of training, guidance, and service activities for students and graduates.
