The visit is linked to a research project exploring the integration of digital transformation and sustainability in the tourism and hospitality industry. The project investigates how Industry 5.0 technologies can support sustainable, human-centred, and resilient solutions. Teaching activities for Master’s and PhD students are also envisaged. The visit further aims to strengthen international collaboration and the exchange of best practices related to triple crown accreditation (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA).

The main purpose of the visit is to conduct advanced joint research on the implementation of educational technologies in teacher education, with a particular focus on MicroBit-supported learning and the co-creation of Open Educational Resources. The visit will support the development and cross-cultural validation of a trilingual diagnostic research instrument grounded in the Extended Educational Technology Acceptance Model (EETAM) and integrated with a Problem-Based Learning approach. Research activities will include theoretical mapping, tool validation, comparative analysis between the Italian and Polish contexts, and preparation of joint peer-reviewed publications, contributing to evidence-based innovation in media pedagogy and digital education.

Research on macular degeneration, retinal and choroidal diseases, central serous chorioretinopathy, and multimodal ophthalmological imaging will be discussed, and lectures will be delivered. Interaction with faculty members, students, and graduate students in these fields will take place, including the provision of lectures and research consultations. Collaboration will occur primarily with Prof. Solmaz Abdolrahimzadeh in the host department.

The research project examines Managed Information Disorder in Shared Spaces (MIDSS) with the objective of addressing misinformation and other forms of information pollution within the public sector. A typology of public sector information integrity strategies in Italy and across Europe will be developed. In addition, best practices for stakeholder engagement in countering information pollution will be identified, with particular attention to vulnerable rural and border communities in the European Union and the United States.

The joint research project aims to analyse the different applications of intervention criteria and the different theoretical and operational approaches in Italy anda Spain, taking as its subject of study some significant examples of restoration of fortified architecture, especially when these structures are closely linked to the urban fabric of the cities they protected. thus allowing for a comparative analysis of the dynamics, principles and choices underlying the various cases identified. This research therefore aims to be a meeting point for exchange and mutual enrichment, both professionally and academically.

The visit aims to strengthen academic cooperation between Sapienza and the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. During her stay, she will contribute to teaching through seminars on Levantine archaeology and heritage at risk, and advance joint research on the archaeological contexts of Bethlehem. The visit will support the publication of new scientific results and promote shared strategies for cultural heritage preservation within a transcultural and decolonial framework.
