The Sapienza Statute is the main expression of the principle of university autonomy and the main internal regulations document.
The statute defines the mission and objectives of the university, its organisational principles, and criteria for planning and evaluation, as well as the organisation of structures, academic governance and the rights and duties for every part of the university community.
The Sapienza Statute was officially published with the Rector’s Decree N. 3689 (29/10/2012, Protocol N. 0068595, published on the G.U. – Serie Generale N. 26, 8/11/2012); moreover, Decree N. 2892 (18/09/2015, published on the G.U. – Serie Generale N. 230, 3/10/2015) introduced Article 14bis concerning the Aerospace Engineering School.
