Ethics Committee for Transdisciplinary Research
The Ethics Committee for Transdisciplinary Research (CERT in Italian), as per RD no. 59099/2021, ensures that Sapienza University research follows ethical principles defined by international and national regulations and the Sapienza Statute and Code of Ethics.
The Committee provides ethical analysis and opinions on research proposals and experimental protocols. Moreover, in collaboration with the Research and Technology Transfer Area, it prepares information plans aimed at ethical awareness of the implications of research activities. CERT is accredited by the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
