For spin-offs and start-ups, the sector manages:

• Presentation of new proposals;
• Support to the Spin-off and Start-up Commission;
• Drafting of proposals by university offices;
• Monitoring and implementing transparency requirements;
• Collection and analysis of data for evaluation of third mission activities.

For clusters and consoritums, the sector manages:

• Procedures for joining, leaving and creation said groups;
• Support to the Centres and Consortiums Commission;
• Drafting activation requests to be presented to university governance;
• Monitoring and implementing transparency requirements;
• Collection and analysis of data for evaluation of third mission activities.
