Biovision of the Future
The webinar Biovision of the Future will be held on October 29. A dialogue between experts will address the issue of biofabrication as a cultural rather than technological challenge. The webinar's main goal is to spur a more critical design culture, not only aimed at solving today's problems by imagining products and processes in a biological key but also at creating a new and more ethical approach to ecology and new prospects for future systemic changes.
After the institutional greetings of the Vice Rector Giuseppe Ciccarone, the director of the Saperi&Co Research and Service Centre at Sapienza, Sabrina Lucibello, and PhD Carmen Rotondi of the Department of Planning, Design and Technology of Architecture will introduce the event's central theme. Speakers at the event will be architect and designer Stefano Marzano, futurist sociologist Roberto Poli, sociologist and economist Mauro Magatti, philosopher Leonardo Caffo, and technologists Arti Ahluwalia and Carmelo De Mariai, Monsignor Carlo Maria Polvani and the sociologist Francesco Morace.
