The Grant Writing Lab is a 3-day workshop, in English, for researchers who will submit a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships proposal choosing Sapienza as Host Institution.

During GWL, the different sections of the form will be analysed in detail to provide participants with the necessary tools to address each part of the proposal as fully as possible. In particular, common mistakes to avoid, strengths to highlight and how to structure a successful proposal will be presented. Special attention will be given to key aspects such as open science, communication and exploitation of results, and ethical issues.

The full GWL programme is available in the "Downloads" section.

  • Check that you are eligible to submit an MSCA-PF proposal to an Italian host institution
  • Identify a Sapienza professor willing to act as your supervisor
  • Submit the application to GWL by filling in the online form. You will be asked to upload your CV, an abstract of the project idea, an acceptance letter from your Sapienza supervisor and a declaration of eligibility (templates available in the "Downloads" section).

The application must be submitted by May 6, 2024

An invitation will be sent by May 10 to applicants accepted to the GWL.
