On Saturday 17 and Sunday, April 18, the Botanical Garden of Rome will host the sixth edition of "Hanami at the Botanical Garden" to celebrate the splendid cherry blossom of the Japanese Garden at this time of year.

The initiative is a collaboration with the Japan Cultural Institute in Rome and sponsored by the Italy-Japan Foundation.

This year's edition is dedicated to the wonder and excitement of nature at its most beautiful but soon to fade away. For this reason, the fascination of Hanami remains ever alive. The poetic, philosophical and aesthetic world represented by the Japanese Garden together with the works of sculpture and ikebana will offer visitors an opportunity to approach the oriental vision of space, emptiness, nature and beauty in harmony with the intentions that "Hanami at the Botanical Garden" has had since its first edition.

Booking is compulsory on the Botanical Garden website. (in Italian)
