Presentation of the Excellence Centre Dtc Lazio
On monday, October 22, 2018, at the Aula Magna of the Rectorate Building will be presented the Excellence Centre at the Lazio Technological District for Cultural Heritage (DTC). This new reality connects, together with Sapienza, 8 among the main research bodies of Lazio Region. It is moreover the most important know-hows agglomeration area on an European scale.
As a founding partner, all the public universities of Lazio participate in the project (Sapienza, as leader, Tor Vergata, Roma Tre, Tuscia, Cassino and Southern Lazio), as well as the research bodies Cnr, Enea and Infn. The funding of the Lazio Region - € 6 million over three years - foresees a first phase for one and a half million euro dedicated to the activation of the Center, to carry out high education, research and technology transfer projects, to the creation of registry and the observatory on skills and territorial resources of the Dtc Lazio. The second phase will be supported with a budget of 4.5 million euros.
The project will offer advanced training courses, masters, courses for lifelong learning, free moocs as part of the management of cultural heritage.
- Sismi: technologies for the improvement of security and the reconstruction of historic centers in the seismic area;
- Ecodigit: digital ecosystem for the fruition and exploitation of the cultural assets and activities of the Lazio region;
- Adamo: diagnostic analysis and monitoring technologies for the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage.
