Since March 2020, the secretariats and offices of the Academic Programmes and Right to Education Area (Arof) and the Student Services Area (Arss) have been working daily - both in person and from home - to ensure their services despite the COVID-19 pandemic. In-person services have been moved to digital platforms while maintaining the possibility of physical access to offices by appointment for needs that cannot be met remotely.

On January 12, 2020, Rectress Antonella Polimeni and Director-General Simonetta Ranalli, accompanied by the Director of Arof Giulietta Capacchione and the Director of Arss Laura Leone, visited the secretariats and offices and met the staff involved in student services. The meeting was an opportunity to take stock of particular aspects of the work carried out during this period and discuss possible future developments with a view to continuous improvement.

The Rectress and the Director-General also visited the Main Campus's Experimental Botanical Garden, whose spaces and greenhouses hold sophisticated plant biology research, including experiments carried out by graduands.
