Public engagement initiatives for the protection and promotion of artistic, cultural and environmental heritage
Sapienza supports numerous public engagement initiatives aimed at protecting and promoting artistic and cultural heritage – both tangible and intangible – as well as protecting the environment and fostering the participatory development of sustainable communities.
Some best practices in this area include (in Italian);
- Paesaggi di confine, an example of heritage enhancement as a space for cultural diversity and an opportunity for social cohesion;
- Abitare il patrimonio scomodo a Roma, an example of participatory analysis of the processes of constructing, erasing and rewriting the memory of places;
- Sapienza condivisa, an example of the direct involvement of local communities in the enhancement of archaeological heritage;
- Microforeste eco-pedagogiche, an example of the creation of shared spaces to foster a culture of sustainability and environmental protection;
