The call for applications for the Italian Erasmus programme, to be held in the second semester of the 2026–2027 academic year, has been published. It is open only to Sapienza students who are enrolled in the 2026–2027 academic year on one of the degree programmes listed in Article 2 of the call for applications and who have a 2026 university ISEE of up to €50,000.

The mobility period must be a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months.
The training experience shall take place exclusively ‘in-person’, at the university of destination.

The application must be submitted exclusively online, through the sistema informatico Contributi e borse, by October 22, 2026.

The proposal to establish an agreement, duly approved by the relevant Faculty, must first be agreed between lecturers teaching on equivalent degree programmes at two Italian universities. The agreement will enable their students to undertake study activities and examinations, with credits (CFU) recognised by the partner university. To facilitate the procedure, a template agreement is available for completion, including a list of the Degree Programmes covered by the mobility arrangement. The agreement will be finalised upon signature by the Rectors. For each Degree Programme to be included in the agreement, an academic contact person must be designated to be responsible for defining and reviewing each student’s study plan (Learning Agreement).

• record your information
• provide you with your mobility start certificate
• set up your Sapienza student profile, so you can access all related services
• guide you through the exam registration process
• facilitate any communication with the academic advisor for your program
• at the end of your mobility period, provide you with your exam certificate along with your mobility completion certificate.

You will be contacted in good time by the Erasmus Italiano Office of the host university, who will provide you with information about the relevant obligations and procedures.
At the end of your mobility period, the educational activities completed at the host university will be recognised by the Sapienza academic contact person responsible for your mobility, through the appropriate validation procedure.

Please remember that your grant will be paid by bank transfer to a current account or prepaid card, which must be held in your name or jointly held in your name. You are therefore required to register your IBAN on Infostud. The grant will be paid in two instalments: the first instalment, corresponding to three months’ funding, will be paid at the start of the mobility period; the second instalment, corresponding to the remaining number of months at the host university, will be paid at the end of the mobility period.
