Libraries ⇆ Research - Erasmus Staff Week for Libraries and Learning centers

Sapienza Library System has launched the Erasmus Staff Week Libraries ⇆ Research (June 18-22, 2018). The selected 25 participants come from a wide range of countries (Estonia, France, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and United Kingdom) and bring with them a variety of working experiences, librarians, subject librarians, library directors, communication and information techonology experts, and research associates. 

The Erasmus Staff Week Libraries ⇆ Research will focus on

  • open access
  • institutional and digital repositories
  • data management
  • data literacy
  • libraries impact on research outputs
  • libraries’ experiences in research activity.

All the sessions will be chaired by Sapienza libraries staff members. Sapienza libraries will also present their own services and projects about abovementioned themes.

The Erasmus Staff Week will take place at

  • Faculty of Humanities (building CU003), Partenone hall, ground floor (June 18)
  • Department of Earth Sciences (building CU005), Lucchesi Hall (June 19)
  • Faculty of Architecture, via Gramsci (June 20)
  • Faculty of Engineering, San Pietro in Vincoli (June 21)
  • Marco Polo Compound (June 22).

Cultural activities are programmed for every single day.
The social dinner will take place on Tuesday 21 in San Lorenzo neighborhood.
