Unit for Planning and Accreditation of courses and programmes

The Unit oversees the processes relating to planning of courses and programmes and the accreditation of Level I and II degree programmes.
In particular, it oversees activities relating to:

  • the institution, activation/deactivation, modification and accreditation of Level I and II study courses, including those activated in collaboration with other Italian and international universities, as well as the implementation and support for the drafting of the SUA - CdS according to the methods defined by MUR, CUN and ANVUR and the issuing of the relative DD.RR;
  • management of Sapienza's IT platforms relating to regulations, manifestos and educational scheduling, as well as their implementation and support activities for faculties and departments;
  • preliminary investigation relating to the preliminary verification of the adequacy of the professional scientific curriculum of the Highly Qualified Experts proposed for the award of teaching contracts and the allocation of remunerated contracts;
  • collaboration with the Unit under the Area for Educational services and support for access to education, in the negotiation of bilateral and multilateral agreements for the award of double, multiple and/or joint degrees aimed at enhancing student mobility opportunities in non-EU countries;
  • technical and administrative support to Sapienza's Didactic Committee in collaboration with the Unit for Postgraduate School Accreditation and Degree Programme Agreements.
