1. University and Faculty Ombudsman
Article 6 of La Sapienza's Statute provides for the appointment of a student community ombudsman, both at University and Faculty level, who has the authority and responsibility to intervene to report malfunctions and limitations of rights.
The University Ombudsman periodically meets with the Faculty Ombudsmen and has the authority to consult with student representatives in collegial bodies and those responsible for the facilities, if appropriate.
The Ombudsman reports to the Rector and the Academic Senate every six months.
2. Confidential counsellor
According to Sapienza's Code of Conduct in the fight against sexual harassment, the confidential counsellor is responsible for providing advice and assistance to victims and contributing to the resolution of cases submitted to her, in order to prevent and deal with possible situations of gender-related harassment that may occur in study and work relationships.
