At Sapienza store the portable ashtray is back!
To limit the damage caused by cigarette butts being left in the environment, Sapienza has created a portable ashtray. The portable ashtray only costs 1 euro and is now available again at the university store. To know the shop's opening hours, please visit the Sapienza Store website.
Please note: as per Law 221 - 2016 on environmental regulations, people who drop cigarette butts on the ground, as well as other particularly frequent and polluting small waste (receipts, paper tissues and very damaging chewing gum) will be fined.
Sapienza has researched the effectiveness of anti-smoking communication campaigns by investigating the cerebral and emotional response to different types of messages. The study is carried out by the spin-off "BrainSigns" and the Department of Molecular Medicine.
