24H Reading Rooms

Sapienza has four 24-hour reading rooms. Access is reserved to regularly enrolled Sapienza students holding the student card.

 

Where are the Reading Rooms?

  • Earth Sciences Library (Geology Building, CU005, access from piazzale Aldo Moro)
  • Faculty of Law - Private law (Plesso Tecce - CU018, access from piazzale Aldo Moro)
  • Basic and Applied Sciences for Engineering Library (Sala Ghizzetti, Via Antonio Scarpa 16, RM007 Building)
  • Oriental studies (Marco Polo compound, Circonvallazione Tiburtina, 4 - edificio RM021)

Opening Hours

Monday-Friday

  • Earth Sciences: 5 pm - 7 am.
  • Faculty of Law - Private law: 7:30 pm - 8 am.
  • Basic and Applied Sciences for Engineering Library: 4 pm - 7 pm and 8 pm - 8 am.
  • Oriental studies: 3:30 pm - 12 pm.

Saturday and Sunday

  • Earth Sciences, Faculty of Law - Private law, Basic and Applied Sciences for Engineering Library: 9 am - 7 pm and 8 pm - 8 am.
  • Oriental studies: 9 am - 7 pm.

One-hour closures are required for cleaning.

How to Access Campus and the 24H Reading Rooms

To access the study rooms it is necessary to follow the instructions provided in the Sapienza access procedures and fill out the self-certification form. The reservations have been disabled.

Services

The reading rooms are equipped with WIFI and electrical outlets for the use of personal devices. Please, check the Reading Room Regulations.
