The Sapienza Counselling Services Hub supports the entire academic community (students, lecturers, administrative staff and librarians) and promotes psychological wellbeing, activating treatment pathways for emotional distress, inclusion and growth.
Counselling for students offers support in several areas also linked to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, such as exam stress management strategies, integration difficulties, coping with being away from the family, discrimination, harassment, learning difficulties, gender discrimination.
Sapienza staff experiencing personal or relational difficulties in their family, social, and working lives are supported with specific treatment pathways.
The Counselling Services Hub works with psychology residents specifically trained to provide an initial reception service aimed at analysing questions, providing brief advice or referring to specialised services.
English-speaking counsellor available upon appointment.
