Sapienza's Counselling Services Hub offers an initial reception and demand analysis service open to the entire academic community.
As far as students are concerned, the service can help with psychological distress (difficulties in taking exams, in settling into the academic environment, separation from family of origin, etc.), but also aims to respond to the difficulties caused by the recent COVID-19 pandemic. Other issues such as discrimination, harassment, integration difficulties, learning difficulties, gender discrimination can also be addressed in the initial counselling, which can then be directed towards specific pathways.
Sapienza staff experiencing personal or relational difficulties in their family, social, and working lives are supported with specific treatment pathways.
The Counselling Services Hub works with psychology residents specifically trained to provide an initial reception service aimed at analysing questions, providing brief advice or referring to specialised services.
English-speaking counsellor available upon appointment.
