"Alias identity" regulation for transgender academic staff, research fellows and technical-administrative staff
Sapienza guarantees its academic and technical-administrative staff a welcoming and inclusive working environment that respects confidentiality and the dignity of the individual, in which interpersonal relations are based on fairness and mutual respect, applying the principles of freedom and inviolability of the person and the right to personal identity.
The purpose of this Regulation is to manage the activation of the "Alias identity". This is a transitional identity that allows the use of a chosen name, different from the one on official documents, within Sapienza. Activation of the "Alias identity" can be requested by submitting a specific, reasoned request.
