Workers' rights and labour relations

Sapienza guarantees the respect of workers' rights according to national and supranational regulations. The Unitary Trade Union Representation, elected by all workers, including our international language experts, is Sapienza's counterpart in integrative negotiations, together with the various trade union organisations that are signatories to the National Labour Contract.

Sapienza integrative negotiation

Sapienza's integrative negotiation takes place periodically in order to update the contract between our University and its workers, including our international language experts, which is complementary to the national category contract. The supplementary contract may cover additional wages, welfare initiatives, working hours and other issues related to work organisation.
