Being an academic library - Erasmus Staff Week for Libraries and Learning centers
After its first succesfull experience, the Sapienza Library System launches its second Erasmus Staff Week entitles Being an Academic Library (May 20-23, 2019) for librarians and information professionals.
The Erasmus Staff Week will focus on
- Academic library's mission and strategic plan
- Innovative services
- Successful experiences in re-organizing traditional services or creating new ones
- Emerging needs
- Third mission goals and libraries' activities
- Tools supporting library’s purposes
Erasmus staff week information
An outline of the programme is available from the menu on the right. The final programme - articulated in three sessions - will be designed on the basis of the topics raised by participants' abstracts. All the sessions will be chaired by Sapienza staff and will host a speaker from the same institution.
Being an academic library Staff Week will be hosted by different Sapienza facilities in Rome, both in main campus and off-campus.
Cultural activities - such as concerts, library visits, architectural tours, etc. - are planned in every single day.
The social dinner will take place on Tuesday 21 in San Lorenzo neighbourhood.
