Being an academic library - Erasmus Staff Week for Libraries and Learning centers
After its first succesful experience, the Sapienza Library System launches its second Erasmus Staff Week entitles Being an Academic Library (May 20-23, 2019) for librarians and information professionals. An extra day (Friday 24) is offered to participants in order to visit the Faculty of Architecture library (via Gramsci 53).
The Erasmus Staff Week will focus on
- Academic library's mission and strategic plan
- Innovative services
- Successful experiences in re-organizing traditional services or creating new ones
- Emerging needs
- Third mission goals and libraries' activities
- Tools supporting library’s purposes
Erasmus staff week information
The program is available from the menu on the right. The final programme has been designed on the basis of the topics raised by participants' abstracts. All the sessions are chaired by Sapienza staff and host speakers coming from the same institution.
Practical informational
Being an academic library Staff Week will be hosted by different Sapienza facilities in Rome, both in main campus and off-campus.
The social dinner will take place on Tuesday 21 in San Lorenzo neighbourhood.
