Substitute Qualification Diploma
The State Exams Office's services are also provided online. Please email us at email@example.com. for requests and information. The required certificates, digitally signed, will be mailed to the applicant’s email address. To cover tax duties, the applicant must purchase a 16 euro tax stamp (marca da bollo), place it on the certificate, and “annul” it by signing it. For certificates valid abroad, the applicant can ask for an appointment to collect the signed original certificate directly at the office.
The substitute certificate is the first certificate issued to the qualified person and temporarily replaces the Qualification Diploma, which will be available after a few years from the date of the qualification itself. For information on the availability of diplomas, please consult the Qualification Diploma page.
The substitute certificate is issued upon request. Please note: the qualified person can self-certify the qualification by using the appropriate form; bodies and administrations to which the self-certification is submitted may verify the declarations' truthfulness by contacting our University.
It is possible to apply via email for a digitally signed substitute certificate for qualifications obtained from 2019 up to the present.
