Support for Structures' activities
Following current legislation, the Sapienza Statute recognises that the Departments play a leading role in the university's organisation, as the primary structures responsible for organising and managing research activities. In particular, as envisaged by the Statute, the Research Centres have the function of enhancing research activities and/or services, through interdisciplinary integration, falling within the competence of two or more Departments.
The Enhancement and Technology Transfer supports the research and technology transfer activities of Sapienza Structures, such as Departments and Centres, to enhance their potential for development, innovation and connection with the local community.
To achieve these objectives, the Office provides advice to the Structures in particular for the performance of the following activities
- drafting of research contracts for third parties
- collaboration and partnership agreements which are independently drawn up by the Centres with public and private entities;
- enhancement of intellectual property.
